What Big Eyelashes

This is from a couple of summers ago and a fairly tight crop, but I just could not resist those eyelashes. Who knew a bull had so much to flutter. Apparently he had his mojo working in advance of the rut as cow was hiding in the pines just behind him.

Nice young bull, Brad. Looks like he'd have a nice rack by fall. Pretty eyes indeed. The eyes and most of the head are sharp but the end of his nose is soft. I think it would have been a better image if you'd closed down just a bit to get it in focus. Otherwise, a nice pleasing shot.

I like the soft eyes and the head turn on this capture Brad. But those long noses are tricky. :toast:

I really like this portrait Brad, nicely composed and you've captured the antler velvet perfectly.

He looks kind of feminine indeed Brad  The diagonal composition works well and the DOF is pleasing. The detail seems to be good despite the heavy crop. If anything at all I might reduce the saturation on the light greens a bit.
