Australian Ringneck

This beautiful species of parrot is quite common in the interior of Australia, but hard to get a great image of...
Perch isn't the best, but I quite liked the red hills in the b/g.
Cassia Hill (NT), D800, 300 2.8, 1.7TC, f7.1, 1/500, ISO 800, -1/3EC.
Thanks, Greg.

Wow Greg, this parrot really jumps out from the background. I love the mix of colours in this photo.

Greg,
Easy to see where this got its name from

As you say the perch is not the best, but overall a very fine image

A wonderful composition Greg. Really like the bunch of twigs as the perch and the great BG to go along with very nice details on this colorful parrot. Very well done.

Great shot of a lovely bird Greg. Nice details and a smooth, subtle background-the perch is a non-issue IMO.
