Early morning sunlight over farmland in Oregon, April 2013. The mix of light, shadow and color in this scene really caught my eye.

Everyone is probably thinking this is the Palouse of Washington, but I promise you this is Oregon.

Nikon D800, Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6 at 300mm (Dx crop mode=450mm), polarizer
1/200 sec at f/8, ISO 800

I like it, Scott. Any saturation on your end or was it really just the glorious morning light on spring greens?

Thanks Amy. I definitely added some saturation to the final image. The raw file came out pretty flat due to the slight haze I was shooting through at 450mm.

Beautiful representation and out of the box.

Where in Oregon? I will be shooting there in a week for a good while and looking for places to visit.

Really beautiful light. I love all the lines and shapes in this image. Was this somewhere on the eastern side of Oregon? I saw a few similar landscapes when I took a drive from Colorado to Seattle last year.
