Jewel on Gold

Jewel Beetle on a Croton Plant. My new found love, the Croton Plants. They provide such an excellent background that I would love to make more pictures in this area of Lalbagh, Bangalore, India. I noticed this Jewel Bug climbing the leaf. I set up the tripod for the top of the leaf and waited for it to climb to the top. After reaching the top, you have nothing but to go down. Shot this when it was contemplating whether to climb down or fly off.
