Spring Sign

I too am posting a crocus as a sign of Spring here. These little beauties comeup each Spring in the lawn of our condo and then are mowed down, but they seem to be hardy and return each year.

60D 100 macro tripod? (made of sticks on the ground along with me.. )

Now that is getting down and dirty! Eye-level works. The beauty is enhanced by the translucent petals and blades. Good dof too.

Very, very nice Larry. I love the sharpness and detail in the grass and the colors compliment each other nicely. I think the relatively neutral color of the background makes the crocus really pop as well. :toast:

great perspective and dof.I like how the grass starts sharp at the base of the flower then fades out. The neutral bg also helps highlight the flowers....well seen

Larry:

Love this image. The color is bright and cheery befitting a spring image. Great low angle POV and the DOF are just right. To get such sharp image you must have a great tripod, you should patent it

Very nice Larry. I think that the shot could be darkened, just a tad, but the comp works really well for me.

Mowed down! :frown: I need to talk to the gardener! :argue:

What a great look at one of my favorite flowers! Color and texture looks fantastic against the soft bg. Excellent image of these beauties, Larry!
