I liked the Yellow Trillium surrounded by Fringed Phacelia.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park Saturday.

Beautiful subject, Richard. I do find myself wishing the two foreground oof Phacelia's weren't there. The one on the right seems particularly distracting to me.

Absolutely lovely Yellow Trillium, Richard. I think I would have been tempted to pick the two OOF Phacelia in front, but that might just be hindsight.

Hi Richard :wavey: A super take on this trillium :jump: The light is perfect and the colors are so natural...The front OF blooms could have been easily removed

The foliage of the Trillium is very showy. I like the way you present it among the other flowers, except that perhaps fading (i.e., darkening) the flowers in back of the trillium would offer a little improvement. The bright white blur in lower center fg is a nuisance. The Phacelia that is closer to the plane of focus and shows its "fringed" or "feathered" feature is really nice.
