Big Horn Leap

From an early spring venture to Yellowstone. This young ram had left the group of about 15 rams dozing in the sun to explore the cliffs nearby. He would get on the smallest of ledges, look up, down and all around, leap to another impossibly smaller ledge and repeat.

Really nice capture Brad. I really enjoyed your last post of a big horn because it had a real sense of danger in it. Now, you have topped that one.

Nice action shot Brad. The way these guys can leap around rocks and cliffs is incredible. It is hard to see where he's going to land but I'm sure he managed just fine. Great earthy colours, beautifully exposed.

Very nice. It's difficult to achieve that degree of visual separation with the coloration of the ram being so close to the colors of the rock surfaces.

Great timing to catch him at this extension. Cool. I think, if you don't mind a change in ratio, you might consider taking a bit of crop off left edge.

Sweet flight shot in great sheep habitat, love those colorful rock ledges. Sounds like a cool experience you had with this ram exploring the cliffs.
