Stack of 23

These are few & far between in my part of the desert...I found only two groupings this year...about a mile and a quarter away from each other. I am keeping their location top secret so no one decides to go pick them:)

Comments & criticisms welcome.

Eirini. ..the soft colors and softness of the petals ..beautifully crafted. Wondering why this is placed off center...

These are quietly lovely. The background is to die for; the detail and the DOF are solid. The placement in the frame feels awkward to me. I would be inclined to crop from the left to where the subject is centered, making a long, narrow composition.

Very nice, Eirini. I really like the bg. I'm not too sure about the off-centering in this particular case. For something this tall and skinny, I'd be tempted to center it.

I don't particularly like it centered, but am thankful for the input! Here is a centered version....

Eirini - The wild one seem a lot different from the commercial variety we get to see. I was about to write asking for the same composition in the repost - I sure like the repost better.

Wonderful complementary and blurred background really helps to highlight the stem here

tough one. As I like the first because it's out of the box composition, the second seems to have more eye appeal. Both are wonderful work.

I think the centered comp. works better in this case, wish I could tell you why. What a neat find.

Superbly done, as ever, Eirini ! The flowers are crisp and lovely, the background dreamily beautiful. To centre or not to centre ? - I have no real preference, both work well.
