Taken at JTNP (Joshua Tree National Park) In California. With my Nikon D-300 80-400 zoom lens. 1/125 sec. @ f/9.5 ISO 200 Focal Length 80mm. I love the rock formations through out this desert wonder land.

I like the way this image highlights the interesting rock formation, and the clouds are very complementary. I think this is an image that could be much more dramatic in B&W, particularly if you pull down the blues as part of the conversion to add drama to the sky and increase the visual weight of the rocks. Maybe add a vignette to further highlight the formation at the center of the image?

Not to sound redundant, but I have to second Phil's thoughts, William. Looks like a place with abundant comp possibilities.
