4 weeks ago on top of "Grenchenberg". Grenchenberg is a mountain just above the town of Grenchen/Switzerland in the first Jura mountain chain about 1400 meter above sea level. I thought I were just above the fog on this morning but I stood right in the middle of it.

Thanks for your feedbacks

Love it Bill! I wanted to capture something like this for a long time, but have not found the conditions yet.
Excellent!

Bill, This looks fantastic! Beautiful work! :toast:
The thumbnail sure doesn't do this justice. If people took the time to click on it they would certainly enjoy it!...

Ah, bring back the winter! Looks like a tree portrait to me. The minimalist approach works for me. Is that another tree I see lurking on the right? Maybe you have some shots with some trees in the background a little more visible?

Well done Bill! I'd love to see a vertical version of this for comparison.

Magnificent work Bill. Love the ghostly form on the right as well. It really adds to the overall mood.

Stunning and convincing presentation of the scene to me, Bill. The placement of the tree is spot on to my eye and keeps my attention. Great work for me.

Just perfect for a foggy, wintry scene. Love it that more trees can just barely be seen, while still appreciating the one in full view in its snowsuit. Great shot.

I have been busy the last couple of weeks, so I haven't had much time to participate here. So I was more than glad an honored to see that my image was selected as weekly pick. Thanks a lot!
