Things habe ben busy lately here. I'm working on a brand new web appearance and some other projects so I haven't had as much time as I would like to participate here.I still have some winter images left that I haven't shown yet and this is one of them. We are longing for sppring time here in switzerland but winter is tough this year.
This is a shot from a small pond not far from home and it's my favorite local spot for landscapes.

Jaw-dropping; and your title says it all. Larger view is spectacular.

The only comment I would make relates to the tip of the branch sticking out of the water over on the right side. I think it makes the image stronger in that it provides a balance to the group of pylons in the foreground and serves as an anchor in helping the eye to turn the corner and go toward the mystic center on the upper horizontal third toward which everything else seems to be pointing.

Great image, Bill. The mist adds to the feeling of serenity and the compostion here works very well. I find the branch on the right a little distracting, and, if it were mine, I would clone it out. :toast:

Wow! This is outstanding, Bill. What a beautiful scene with a fantastic mood! I just love the colors and conditions you caught here. The large version is a real treat to open up and look at. Excellent work! :toast:

Wonderful mood you've captured here Bill! I really like the reflected pink from the sky as well as the mist/fog. :toast:

I can see why this is a favorite spot, especially if you get weather conditions like this often. The snow and frost are simply irresistible, and the deep blues against the warm colors in the clouds are stunning; your POV captures that perfectly. (I am also guessing you looked at those frosty reeds on the left for other angles.)

Thanks all for your feedbacks. I appreciate!
At Wayne: Yes, I looked for several different angels and I also have a lot of different shots from that place.
