California spring

It's been a dry winter, as you can tell from this empty stream bed, but the lupine and grass managed to come out anyway. Table Mountain, in northern California, is a marvelous wildflower show, even this year.
Too bad the sky was overcast this morning, but the lupine couldn't have been any bluer!

Canon 5d, M3, 73mm, f/18, 1/30 sec, tripod.

Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques.

Wonderful springtime colors here, Kathy. A real add to the scene would have been a nice flow of water in the dry creek area, but, it's like asking for clouds in the sky in every image too. Very nicely seen and captured.

Very pretty springtime scene Kathy. I like the sea of flowers and the streambed leading you into the backround. Very nice.

Lovely spring landscape image Kathy. I like the lead-in composition allowing the viewer to wander and explore the landscape. Nice display of lupines and greens. The budding tree in the bg is a nice anchor. You did well to exclude much of the blank sky.
