Bird almost on a stick

The Turkey Vultures are back in Northern AZ. 1/1250, f/10, ISO 500 shortly after sunset. An inch of twig cloned out that looked like it was stabbing the bird in the butt.

C&C welcome.

Cheers,
Verm

A nice dramatic silhouette, with a pleasing background.

An interesting silhouette Verm. I looked at the larger image but it is still essentially two colours and doesn't really give a lot more detail.
The BG is a nice warm shade and the silhouette is crisp.
The subject fills the square format well, even though I don't particularly like square photos - even my own.
