Green tree python (C)

This small green tree python was photographed at the Miller Park Zoo. Fairly active snake, but there was too much condinsation on the exhibit glass so I photographed it with the top of the exhibit off. The zoo keeper was standing by, just in case. It was snake weighing day, so I was able to get the photos as part of the routine for the day.

Excellent macro portrait, John. Excellent detail and good control of the flash.

Such phenomenal detail and variation in color, it's great to see such a close-up view. Really excellent work John. It looks a little pixelated on my monitor, but it may just be compression issues with the limiting file size.

Now that's an "in your face" shot. The colors and details are great.
