Visions of summer

Gallery: Macro & Close-upPosted April 3, 2013138 views6 comments

A typical summer sight in my flower beds. But. . . we are still waiting for Spring to arrive! However, some insects are beginning to appear. This was taken last summer.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/6.3 at 1/250 sec. ISO 400. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Wish my coneflowers looked this good. Lovely shot with the bee coming over the top and lots of great detail in the flower.

A pretty flower (I love coneflowers), excellent comp, and nice bg, Carolyn. The bee certainly adds to the image, but the flower is the standout in my book.
