Winter in the Country

During a snowstorm, the effect is similar to fog, in that it addes separation to background objects.

With little colour, to start with, the image was converted to black and white.

Olympus e-5; 14-54 II lens; ISO 200; f:8 @ 1/400 sec.

I tried editing this image to lighten the background but thought I lost all the mood.
BTW: had a quick look at your gallery - nothing short of excellent, I'd say.

Great compositon with the tree in the left corner and the fence leading the eye through the frame. Really an image that gives on that winter feeling
