Standing Tall

We don't get many blizzards in St. Louis, let alone a heavy snowfall in March. This was taken Sunday in Forest Park, one of the great urban parks in the US. I tried to hold off on adding too much contrast to these sycamore trees, to keep the mood consistent with all of the snow that was falling.

Please view large. C&C appreciated as always.

The trunk out line with the snow in the center really defines this for me. Perfect blizzard shot.

Very well done! The high key approach works wonderfully and the trees are so well isolated in the frame.

Simplicity at it's best, Matthew. :toast: This reminds me of a pencil sketch. The high key effect works beautifully for these type of scenes.
