This is probably my first post on NPN in IDK how long, especially in Landscape!! I've finally been feeling some energy after a long malaise, doctors, blood work, etc., and went out yesterday to check on an eagle's nest nearby.

Along the way I stopped at one of my favorite beaver ponds, still frozen over. Along the side of the beaver dam, the crystal-clear water was flowing nicely though.

I had my 500mm on the D90 and shot this at 180mm just to see what it looked like. I was kind of happy with the abstract results. Thanks for looking!

Sorry to hear you've been feeling bad! You need to let your NPN family know these things! Glad that you're feeling better though.

Nice abstract. I might consider cropping all sides just a little to make it more intimate - just my personal tastes showing through!

Thanks Bill! You and I know each other a bit from that social media place, but I just don't like dumping my stuff out anywhere. It's actually been going on for a year, but I managed to get some magazine shots and covers, etc. I'm used to being out every day almost. Hopefully...

On the photo, I agree on the crop... I kind of don't mind the back as much as the OOF front. I think it may be cool as a pano-sort-of. Appreciate your help here and over on the dark side, lol!!! :toast:
