Mist Falls Lodge Firepla

This old fireplace is all that is left of the Old Multonamah Falls Lodge more commonly known as Mist Falls Lodge. A portion of Mist Falls can be see in the background to the right. There is a rather steep and slippery trail up to a higher viewpoint of the falls. A very nice historical location that is a rather rare view for most visitors.

Very cool find Phil. It looks like a nice setting well hidden in the woods. I'm need to find this place next time I'm down there.

On my monitor it looks like the yellow tones are a bit over saturated. I think if you toned them down a bit the fireplace would be more prominent.

Great composition, especially being able to add the falls. Really like the colors and mood of the image.
