This guy was a bit angry at a juvenile eagle that kept landing close to him. Comments and critiques welcome.

Would rather see a clearer shot, i.e. without the distracting twigs obscuring his tail section. It's a great shot otherwise. Really great shot actually.

I prefer this natural image to the cloned shot of the previous post. I don't mind the twig crossing the back but would prefer that the head didn't merge with the thick branch behind it.

I don't really mind the twigs to be honest, I take a lot of shots like this and its how I get to see them often.
Wonderful details and such a powerful strong look to these. Magnificent and great to catch it calling out. Love the details and colours.
All the best Jerry.

Beautiful subject Jerry, I would concur that somehow separating that dramatic head would increase the impact. But hard to complain about that expression.

Good pose and light. I agree, the twigs are fine, part of a natural scene. I do agree with Richard about the larger branch merging with the head though. Good exposure too.

Jerry, personally I prefer the eagle posted on Mar 11 over this one. A bit turned off by all the branch clutter on this and think it just really detracts from the subject.
