A lovely specimen and wonderful colors in this image, Roberto. I think the main shortcoming is a lack of DOF. I think with this particular view it would have helped if the back had been in focus as well. This leaves me thinking it is somewhat disjointed.

Your image provides an excellent view of the intricate detail in the back of dragonfly's head, Roberto. I tend to agree with Peter's comment that more DOF to bring the back of the thorax more in focus would have improved the image as a whole.

Excellent exposure, contrast, quality, & colors.
Nice sharp detailed view of the heads backside Roberto.
I know what it is to fight for DOF using the 1.4x, it's hard to come by..
Well done!

The eyes and back of the head of dragonflies are so interesting when seen up close and you've got those nicely sharp with all the facets in the eyes showing. Very nice! I too would like to have the thorax sharp, but I've done enough of these to know how hard that is.

Roberto:
I love seeing all the details on the back of the neck and fine structure of the eyes. Well done.
