Natural still-life

When walking through the woods in the fall, I found this arrangement of maple seed pods lying on a fallen tree trunk. I found it very beautiful in its simplicity. To my eye it was very artistically arranged just as found and so no "hand of man" (or woman) altered this arrangement.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/22 for 2 sec. ISO 200. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Well seen and captured arrangement, Carolyn. The diagonal lines in the tree trunk make a good bg for the seeds.
