A fresh calla emerges from its leaves in our garden earlier this week.
My apologies to all for being AWOL the past week or so. Our number two son, his wife and their six little ones descended upon our poor little house for a visit. It was fun and I confirmed all of the cliches regarding grand parenting and that parenting is definitely for the young. They left this afternoon and the silence in the house is deafening.

Six littles ones! Wow, I guess your house was hopping with activity.
The light really makes this soft portrait lovely. Excellent use of repeating lines, too! Very well done, Bill!
