Bald Eagle Incoming

Caught this immature bald eagle as he was coming in for a landing. I like the feather detail on the underside of the wing. I added a bit of feather on the wing tip, as I cut a bit off when I captured the image. Taken along the Mississippi River in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. Comments and critiques welcome.

I Like it Jerry.
Immature birds can often look dull compared to their mature counterparts because they lack the adult markings and colour, but the subtle variations of colour on the underside are terrific and I particularly like the yellow legs.
Not sure how much wingtip you added, but if you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have noticed.

Absolutely stunning! You handled the exposure perfectly with the high key BG. No nits here.

Jerry, the detail and color variations you captured are really great in this image. I imagine it was having some issues balancing on such a skinny branch for a bird his size. Nice capture.

Warrior! The sharpness...color of the eagle and mono-chrome of everything else makes this a winner. I esp like the yellow and black talons.
