This was a pretty difficult flower to stack...the flower stalk is fairly tall so the slightest wind moved it all around. I decided to run it just for kicks and I think it stacked decently...not the best, but I think it passes?

Comments & Criticisms are appreciated.

A lovely softness in light and color. Very sweet!

Very nice. Personally, I would like to see some stem to "anchor" the plant. Without some foundation the flower seems to be just floating in space. Just my personal nit.

Very pretty, Eirini, with nice soft colors in the subject and bg. Even before I read Floyd's comment, I had the same reservation about the lack of any perceivable stem. The flowers seem to be floating in space.

Good point Scott & Floyd! Now that you mention it I think you are right about the missing stem being a bit strange. I will post some other versions soon that have a little more sense of stem!

Well Done Eirini, it's always a difficult job to shoot wildfowers in their habitat & stacking is a real eye watering job & winds are the worst nemesis
Some points i wud like to make, you cud have opted for an diffrent angle to make the stem appear (but for me that's not really a deal breaker)
you can also apply an gussian blur layer on it & the by demasking the flowers make the BG a bit more smoother but that too is not that really required as well
All in all i really like the image :toast:

Eirini:

Nice job with the stacking of a moving object!

I kind of like the illusion of the flower emerging from the softness.

Hi Eirini :wavey: Beautifully and artistically captured :jump: Inspired from Gary's quote " I like the illusion of the flower emerging from the softness of the sublime background" :toast:

The flowers seem poised to fly out of the frame, Eirini ! Lovely soft pastel tones and a delightful composition.
