Ear of the Wind Arch is off the main loop road in Monument Valley, Arizona. On this visit, the riples in the sand seemend attractive in the alcove.

Great leading lines and patterns here Doug. I took a moment to browse through your site earlier and ended up looking at almost every album again. Love the soft pinks in the sand against the rich red sandstone.

Fine composition and nice light! Nice to see a unique image from this place. My suggestions might be to darken the blue sky a bit and to burn down the upper right corner as that bright spot grabs the eye somewhat. A great addition to your portfolio, Doug. Recent?

Thanks Peter and John. I did the suggested fixes for improvement and also cooled the sky's temp. I was able go to MV yesterday, Friday, through a friend's invite.

Doug, This is a very cool view! I like the colors very much and love the textures in the rock and foreground sand, especially seen in your larger version. Well done!

Really lovely pastel pinks in this one. The best of the bunch, I think.

Very original composition and sharpness throughout. The sky fix will enhance it greatly.

Love the warm redness here and how the gently curving ripples lead to the ear.

Wonderful, the angle, colors, textures, esp with inclusion of bit of white/grey softness of foliage.
