Swatera Falls

Its been way too long since I've posted of been back here. Work has been taking its toll for getting out or even being online.

I enjoyed a short hike to see this waterfall last weekend. It had just finished a 2 day rain and warming trend to about 40 degrees so I was hoping things may still be frozen near the falls. I wasn't disappointed.

Swatera Falls is a 25' falls located in Schulkill County, PA near the headwater of the Swatera Creek.

Pic specs: Canon 7d, 24-105 lens @ 24mm, f16, 1/4 sec, -1 2/3 stop, ISO 100, Tripod. No filters were use as it was a very cloudy day. Processed in camera Raw. No other processing done except to save for the web.

C&C always appreciated

A terrific image, looks like a magical location to shoot in all seasons. Thanks for sharing it.

Neven I think this is a very nice winter scene. It really captures the feeling of serious cold temps. I like it also with the sky cropped out. Nice work!!! Chet
