Butter Petals

I'm not sure what kind of flowers these are, but I love the buttery color and stiff petal texture. This is a set-up shot inside my living room with a lightbox. It's hard to get a new lens in the middle of a cold, frozen winter... :)

Comments and critiques welcome.

Well done, Jess. The light and soft focus work well, and I like the comp. This image creates or evokes a "happy" mood because of the color and light. Would make a classic "Get Well Soon" card.

Fantastic art shown here Jess. I like the light, depth and POV. Just wonderful in my opinion.

The lighting makes it mysterious and the softness makes it inviting, a very nice combination. Well done Jess!

Jess:

Looks like a dahlia?

Love this close up with softness all round.
