On a recent rainy day I wandered around in the drizzle looking for pictures. I liked the look of raindrops on a Gold Thread Cypress bush we have. . .they gave some sunny color on a dreary gray day.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/13 for 1 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

I like this image Carolyn. The BG, color of the image and especially the reflection in the droplet. Good comp as well.

Well done.

Good job, Carolyn, getting the refraction in the drop in sharp focus against the nice bg. I like the overall gold color as well.

The details in the drop are terrific. I think this is a spot where stacking would let you have both the plant and the drop's image sharp...should you so desire. This is great as is because of the size and detail in the drop lens and the warm colors in the bush.

The gold cypress makes a wonderful 'hanger' for the water droplet, I like this a lot Carolyn.
I especially like the drop size this close, easier to see into that 'crystal ball'..
There's gold in my future!
Well done :wavey:
