Sun and Fog

Just one of our many foggy mornings here in the summer and fall. I always eyed this point hoping to catch the sun where it is here. Ideally, the sun would be better to the left but the fog is normally too thick to see the sun at that angle. (I'll keep trying though!) The tree has lost several limbs where I would regularly see an eagle perched. Another post, another day. I really like the layering of the trees also.

An incredibly serene image. The exposure looks right on for creating a mysterious mood. The sun filtered through the fog is nice, not too dark and certainly not blown out. Good job!

I actually like the sun framed by the trees quite well. Fog here creates a nice atmosphere and it's nice you were able to maintain subtle textures in the darker values. Copyright seems a bit misplaced. Corners are more common for it.

Fog always creates moodiness and this image is a great example of that. I could feel myself standing there looking at this scene. very nice.
