A beautiful capture of this fleeting moment for me, Richard. I like how you kept the texture in the water, it adds to the serene atmosphere. The foreground rock makes for a nice counterpoint to the distant rock face in my opinion.

The presentation seems a bit reversed to me. I'd like to see the sky darker and the hillside and peak brighter. The water could be darker with the rock dodged & burned to achieve more contrast to stand out for an entry point through the image. It looks like you have all the basic elements but need some selective adjustments to make it sing.

Richard, Some nice color and light on the mountain side. I also like the reflection in the water. I'm not sure about the rock in the foreground yet. I'll check back for another look... :smile:

i too have the feeling that the relative luminosity's a bit off here. i also think that to make the foreground rock work, you would need to show a bit more of it.
