Today afternoon in the Danube Floodplains, Lower Austria. We had heavy snowfall again last night, and I enjoyed rambling around in this quiet place. This shot was taken during the "blue hour" at dusk.

I like your composition here....the strong trunks in the foreground give a sense of order to all the chaotic branches in the BG. I also like the somber mood!

BURRR......it looks cold. I'm starting to think that come the middle of summer there needs to be a weekly challenge for winter shots. :toast:

This is superb, Peter. Love your composition; couldn't be better in my opinion. The touch of color in the tree trunks is such a wonderful surprise, set against the gray and white.

Peaceful scene Peter, with a very cold feel, you have a way of catching moods, which in my opinion brings the scene to life. Beautiful work.

You always mange to create order out of chaos Peter. This is a lovely winter scene but I especially like the touch of color on the tree trunks since it really makes them stand out against the Whitney background.
