Dream Layers

Well, if Morris can post one more, so can I...except, I was on the lake much longer than he was shooting these cool abstracts, therefore, maybe there will be a couple more from me shortly. I promise to give it a rest.

I think this was my one of my first few comps after sunrise. It's a lot more complex than it seems here in print/web. There are many different layers that formed this and I don't know if there is any way to shoot it differently to bring them all out. It definitely caught my eye, so I hope I did it justice. The total surface area of this pattern was maybe 8" x 8"...I know it's difficult to get a sense of scale here, but maybe since it's an abstract, that's ok?

Canon 5D2, 90mm TS-E, 2-3 image stitch.

Another really fine abstract from there, Jimmy. Excellent color, comp, and use of lines again. Then the polka dot whites really fill it out nicely. :toast:

Jimmy this is a really nice ice photo. Love the lines, layers and colors. The topmost dark blue layer really adds dimension to the image. Nice work.!!!!!! Chet

Very nice sense of dpeth achieved here. I like the contrast between the circular dots and the hard edges. The color is intense! :toast:

This turned out awesome Jimmy. It looks almost like a painting --- as if Van Gogh decided to paint a scene of fresh snow falling on distant hillsides.

Love the design that gives the idea of receding ridges in a snow storm. As Ben stated, as though in the style of Van Gogh. Beautiful.

Jimmy, I think this one is your best ice abstract yet. This one has a 3d feel to it which sets it apart from others.
