Fall of Lucifer

The last ice abstract from Dream Lake from me, I promise.

The title did not come to me until I was processing this one. When I opened it in Bridge, I noticed the humanlike figure in the snow that seemed to be falling, and what looked like stars at light speed in the ice bubbles.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Large version included,

Morris

Love this...cool title, too. Wish I were that creative in my titles  I really like all the shades of blue behind the striking whites. :toast:

Best one of yours yet for me. Beautiful colours and nice detail in the whites. You two are killing these. Nice.

Yeah, this is definitely a cut above the typical dream ice stuff--i like the balance here between the small bubbles and larger snow patches. Ther center bottom stripe seems a bit bright on my (uncalibrated) lap top. Cool stuff, Morris.

Wow, Morris, I think this deserves an "Oh Mommy!!"  .

This is exceptional. I really like the contrast between the deep blues in the shadows and the lighter blue tones in the bubbles. Add to that the interesting lines and patterns in the ice and snow and this one is truly magnificent. The "figures" (perhaps also a pair of ice skaters) help distinguish this image from many other Dream Lake ice abstracts.

Love the contrast of the pure whites set against the deep blues of the ice, Morris. Stunning design as well. Love the larger image of course. Wouldn't change a thing.

Always tough to make the ice and snow in this fashion work. I think you pulled it off well Morris. Nice job!

It looks like dancer's in the sky to me. I really like the dynamic feeling and the "starry" background. Looks great.
