The Sun Finally Rises

This is the last of the shots I took on the morning of my last two posts. Not quite as abstract but I liked the glow the rising sun gave the far peaks. Suggestions are always helpful. Thanks for looking.

Hmmm...I am debating if you actually have two separate images here. It's a beautiful scene, the light is sweet and the exposure looks great. I just find my eyes competing while looking at the beautiful FG hills and the gorgeously lit peaks in the BG...Let's see what others have to say...TFS

I'm thinking, that the middle hills should be the FG....cut off about a third at the bottom and a quarter on the right side. The colors and textures in the middle are too nice to have such a drab FG at the bottom of the photo. To me the existing FG is just not very interesting and the rubble on the BS and the BR distracts me . I hope I am making sense. There is a terrific photo in here.

Hi Nancy :wavey: I agree the FG could be better, but love the stunning colors and abstract quality of the image

I"m with the others on this Nancy, gorgeous FG , if you crop out the sky, you have a winner.

I love all of the subtle colors. The drama in the foreground is set of nicely by the gentle pinks and soft ridges in the distance. I like this as posted, but can see some other possible comps. here emphasizing either the foreground or the distance ridges. BTW, I sure do like all of the foreground.
