Winter Pronghorn

I liked the sense of sparse browse conditions demonstrated by this male pronghorn. I mostly refrain from retouch/healing brush except for minor items like dust spots or errant reflection, but here I removed an intruding butt on the edge of the frame. Please view larger for commentary, to better assess detail.

I really like this Lon. I have always liked the pronghorn's color pattern. It shows up well here. The snow on his back is an added bonus.Very nice.

Lon, this is cool. Love the colors here. The subtle browns work well with the snow. Would have loved some space at the bottom

Wow, that larger version has so much detail! It does make me shiver though (I hate cold  ). Technically perfect, exposure, comp, processing etc. The only thing I am left wondering is whether this would perhaps have been a bit more engaging had the pronghorn raised its head here.
