Significant treatment with NIK color efex pro. I ask that you give me honest critique especially as to the the acceptability of enhancements. I like it but don't claim it as natural.

I am not sure exactly what you did or to what extent...but I like the light & subdued colors. What exactly did you change?

Eirini, I can only say the processes I used in NIK color efex which was the "cross process" and the "Glamor Glow" filters. I'm not sophisticated enough to tell you exactly how they work but the result was to bring up the contrast between the frosty pine and the background trees and to give a strong glow to the pine. Oh, i believe I also gave a touch of the "foliage" filter to add some enhancement to the greens.

Charlie, I like the looks of this and find it quite interesting, and it works for me. I think the background adds a mysterious mood to this.

Interesting shot, Charlie--I like it! Looks natural enough to me. Maybe a slightly tighter crop so there's less of the bright spots in the ulhc.

This image has an appealing natural look to me, Charlie. There are just enough details in the background for me to make for a nice framing.

Thanks, Nick, Stan and Peter. sometimes after processing I'm not really sure if I overdid some of it. I appreciate you comments.

I think it looks natural oenough. I agree with Stan that a tighter crop might be good, too.
