Little Grassbird

These are usually real skulkers and I've tried unsuccessly to lure them out with callback. I was waiting under some camo for a snipe to appear (it didn't) but two adults and two recently fledged young grassbirds emerged and sunned themselves in the last rays.

Nice detail in the feathers. I like the way the plants frame the bird. Thanks for sharing.

Great composition Rob. I like the straddle pose and the "V" of the stalks frame the bird beautifully.

Love the pose and the shot. Background seems a little vivid to me, but that may be how it actually looks. Nevertheless, a great shot.

Excellent shot Rob. I really like the V shape made by the perch and the light is wonderful.

Superb image, Rob. Wonderful to get the rush blossom in the focal plane.
