Morteratsch Glacier, Switzerland

It's been a long time since I posted here. I hope this will change. I am also behind with processing. This is still from last october after some early snow. There were already skiers on the slopes!

I'm not a big fan of panoramas, but here it was the obvious choice.

Thank you for looking, C&C are welcome.

Love the light and the landscape. I think that the foreground center is a bit empty, it would be good to have some compositional element there (pattern, object, lake, whatever). Like this, there is a lot of interest in the peaks, but the lower half of the frame doesn't excite quite as much, in my opinion.

Beautiful light and sky. Love the colors and love the peaks just getting lit. I agree that this would be strengthened of there was more interest in the FG.

Beautiful location with nice soft lighting. The panoramic format really shows the expansiveness of the landscape. Nice work!!

Beautiful view of earth's shadow on the right Shantikara as well as those wonderful mountains. Just a thought, but maybe brightening the foreground slightly would bring out the pattern line in the snow.

Just spotted this one - really attractive light conveyed here, though I am with Eva here - brightening the foreground a bit and adding a little local contrast may bring up textures. I like the tops the most though, just wonderful transitioin of the lighted tops from right to very left, panorama in it's own way.

Thank you all. I agree on the empty space in the middle. However nicely the early snowfall covered the mountains, unfortunately also covered the glacier's patterns. I tried with more contrast, but there's not much there to bring out. I have to revisit this place in the summer.
