Reflections of Water Street , shot in downtown St.John's NLFD. I loved the juxtaposition of this shot of the historic downtown reflected in the newer buildings.

Very nice shot. I like the contrast between the different buildings, old and new.
Congrats

The b&w treatment is working well, emphasizing the lines and shapes. Nice catch.

This is excellent. I agree about the juxtaposition of the old and new. That works rather well. Fine urban image.

A nice parallel. Which would one say has the more substance?

Thanks everyone for the comments. St.John's is a rapidly growing city as there is a lot of oil off the grand banks in the Atlantic , but they have found a balance between old and new and have invested a large sum of money to repair and keep up it's cultural identity, St. John's is the oldest city in North America and for awhile it was starting to look like it as well . Now with the growth they have recognize that they need to preserve what makes then unique.

Nice B& W! I like how the buildings are broken up in the reflections & the way the sides reflect different structures!
