Taken early Spring at a local park, then I applied a series of digital techniques to produce the painterly look and rainbow hues.

Lovely soft look and nice color rendering. Interesting that you used rainbow to describe the color hue as my colleague also use what he describe as rainbow technique to colorise CT scan images.
