This is my last post on my homeless project. Its been nice to have a outlet for this and Ive found some grounding from my day to day manic shooting style. I feel like I'm ready to slow down and wait for moment to happen. I'm headed to Louisville KY for the Cyclo Cross World Championships this weekend for Spokes Magazine so its just in time for a high paces sports assignment. Thanks for looking and for the comments.

A homeless man tries to shelter himself from the snow storm near Union Station in Washington just blocks away from the U. S. Capitol.

Thanks for posting this series, Douglas. This final image is especially poignant. Good luck with the cyclo cross.

I have followed this as a viewer, but have not commented to date. That the only difference for most folks is a month's time and a paycheck is a given. This one hurts a bit.

From the technical side, the comp is classic, but the shelter is slightly OOF. Was this deliberate?

This has been a good and interesting series. It shakes up the thinking a little, especially when contrasted with the beautiful nature photography that is the norm at NPN.
