New Moderator

With Brad having left the moderator team, Lon and I are barely able to keep our heads above water. Luckily we have found someone who dared to jump in to rescue the situation!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you Gary Gulash as the new member to the NPN Wildlife gallery moderator team. We all know Gary of course as a long time active NPN member and his beautiful wildlife images we have been admiring here for years. No doubt that his solid image critiquing will help many to become better photographers.

Hey Gary (and Vincent and Lon),

Wow - this is great news! I can't think of a better person to do the job! Not only are your images great, but your comments and critiques on the images of others are always thoughtful and fair.

Glad to know that the already excellent Wildlife Gallery moderating team has been strengthened!

Interesting image ! Conveying an apt message .

I congratulate Mr. Gary Gulash for being the next torch bearer in Wildlife gallery as a moderator.

I believe that all the members would truly appreciate his professional evaluation abilities .

Like Brad I hope Mr. Gulash would also give his time improving many of us with all the valuable detailed critique.

Thank you for the announcement Vincent, I very much look forward to working with you and Lon. I have long admired both of you for your consistently excellent critiques and ability to keep the tone here positive. Brad, you are a hard act to follow my friend, thanks so much for your vote of confidence. Saurabh, my approach may perhaps differ from the "valuable detailed critiques" we have all become familiar with from the keyboard of Brad Hill but hopefully I can present my own unique style and earn my keep.

As a "grassroots" NPN member I believe I understand the challenges we all face in the pursuit of this wonderful endeavor we call Wildlife Photography; finding the time, money and energy to get out there and capture the sort of photographs we want is the biggest challenge. Hopefully, my few words of encouragement and suggestions for improvement here at NPN will help make the road to better photography less circuitous, less steep and a little more fun.

(Brad, I too am a little bit nervous about the scene depicted in Vincent's photo, Yikes.

Is this an initiation thing?
