This is a unique image from white sands. I like it for the story it tells of the inexorable march of the dunes. I also like the tame colors and the patterns in the foreground. Chet

Im surprised you got any clouds at all the way the weather has been lately. Well, I really like the daring subject, it definitely reminds me of White Sands. Personally, im not sold on the 50/50--i like it better with 1/3 sand. Cool shot. :wavey:

Love the textures in the sand and I really like the lonely feel of this lone tree amongst the dunes. I might try cropping a bit off the right hand side and a bit off the bottom, with the intent of having the tree more in upper third and lowering the horizon slightly, making the tree even more lonely. Just a thought of course. Nicely done.

A cool main subject and I like the texture of the sand contrasting against the smooth blue sky.
