I took this one yesterday in fresh snow. There were several different tracks that I got shots of but I think this one fits this forum!

In the northeast USA, it's most likely a meadow or woodland vole depending on which habitat you were in. I like your diagonal placement of the tracks and the loooonnnnggggg shadows. These look to me like a leaving (on the right and off the bottom and a return (from the corner and on the left.

A "fish" made by a creative animal making designs in the snow! Interesting shot of tracks; one does wonder what the animal was doing here. Nice angled comp and the lighting helps create a feeling of texture and adds depth to the tracks.

How amazing is that! It looks as if the animal were trying to create an outline of a snowshoe.

Great eye to catch this neat pattern. Excellent comp and exposure to show off the tracks and snow texture. Did you see where the little rodent headed back under the safety of the snow? Could be a good place to look for raptor wing prints!
(Looks like I have been missing your photos for a while. I need to take more of the time I save by avoiding Facebook, and spend it on NPN )
