T-Dubius, an invasive species found near my home last Fall. Commonly called Yellow Goats Beard in Minnesota. I found the seed heads fascinating to photograph. It developed into a project of multiple photographs.
SLT-A55V, F2.0 Tamron 60mm Macro, Aperture Priority, Multi-Pattern, ISO 100, WB shade.Tripod.

CC welcome.

Thank You

William Gillis

Very nice! I like the way the seeds seem to be floating in space. Nicely done!

The sead heads are indeed very interesting and setting them against the black background really lets them float. I'm having mixed feelings about the comp....after third thought, I think it challenging but works well.

I really like the way these float against the black! Would love to see some more of the series. I am also not quite sure about the comp. I think it works, but it could be a little stronger...hope you post more of them!

Very interesting and original, William. I like this one a lot, but I also see the potential here for other comps and variations on the theme. I'd love to see more of the project.

Great image. I liked the composition right away, much more interesting than a single head, as I would have been likely to do, or several whole heads. And of course the striking lighting.

I love the light work here and as already stated, love the idea of all the composition possibilities. Very nice work!
