On September last year, a friend of mine found out this amazing Short-eared Owl in a city close to where I live. I went there 8 times, and could see the bird 5 times. This was taken at the same day of a previous post of an Short-eared Owl.

Taken on Americana, SP. Brazil.

1/200, f/5, Aperture priority, ISO 640, @300mm
Canon EOS 50D, 300mm f/2.8L

Very cool, Jefferson. I like the sharpness of the face and the blur of the wings conveying their speed.

This is a little more wing blur than I prefer but that is just my personal view. Still a nice and interesting shot and the eyes/head are sharp and that is really what counts.
