Took this early winter morning with some fog still in the area. This is Meems Bottom Covered Bridge located outside Mount Jackosn Virginia. I tried to use the trees a framing. Had to cut back of resolution to met posting specs...
C&C welcome

Canon 5D, EF 17-40L @ 40mm, 1/10sec, f/11, iso L(50), AP, Eval metering, tripod used.

David,

Not a lot of original covered bridges left in the country but you have made a very nice image of this one. The trees framing the bridge add to the overall look. Very nice job.

I like the framing, David, and the diffused light is exceptional.

Very tough to get a good image of the remaining covered bridges, as the trees have usually gone crazy in the many years since they were built.
This works very well - perfect perspective, subtle colours, and nicely-framed by the large branch.
Fine image!

Beautiful perspective and light on this bridge, giving it a classic feeling. I like the framing by the trees, but I don't think the vegetation to the left of the large framing tree adds anything to the image. Cropping that part off would concentrate more on the subject.

Viewing in the larger size does help a lot! I was a bit unsure about how you used the tree/branch to frame the bridge, but the more I look, the more I like it.
