Orange-crowned Warbler having a go at the few 'remaining' fire-thorn berries last month.
F/6.3, 1/400th, ISO 640, Canon 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x ext @ 10:43 and overcast.

I'd call this bird an Orange-crowned Warbler.

I like the activity and overall composition. Techs look good as well.

Nice! Great position from the warbler, and perfect half-eaten berry. Fine detail and comp.
I'd be tempted to clean up the small branches at the bottom - at least the one that intersects the bird's head.

Amazing what birds will eat to survive! I always thought warblers were mainly insectivores. Very beautiful image, Howard. Really like all the interesting elements in it - the pose, the half-eaten fruits and of course, the great background.
