I love the tone of the image along with the great shadow lines going through the fog and the trees. If I were to change anything it might be to crop some off the bottom, there's a little big of fog down there but not as interesting as the clouds and the tree line and the crop may help keep your eye up in the the more detailed part of the image.

Very dramatic image. The lighting is great. I really like the way the shadows of the trees create the patterns in the center of the image. It adds a lot of interest.

Wonderful conditions, Bill, nicely captured. I very much like the looming clouds (or fog?) behind the ridge. Very nice!

I love light streaking across trees in the fog images like this one. Great color in the light, mood, and lines. Beautiful shot!

Great mood, and the warm tones make what was probably a cool morning feel a whole lot warmer. Not much I can think of to change this.

Amazing rays coming through that tree line. I almost wish the treeline were higher in the frame, but there would have to be enough mist below to keep interest up. Looks like a great morning for sure. :toast:

Oh, wow. I like this a lot, Bill. The light is very dramatic and when combined with the atmospheric elements this is phenomenal. I like the tonal range and the contrast between the deep shadows and bright highlights. The repeated lines from the beams of light interacting with the trees creates a nice rhythm to the composition and provides contrast with the otherwise smooth structure of the clouds. Finally I like the three distinct horizontal layers in the composition. I would say this is a visual masterpiece. :toast:

My kind of shot Bill. Magical is an apt way to describe the light and mood here! I could see a small crop from the bottom as mentioned, but I like it fine as is. Excellent!
